Wow I am proud !
One of my students were just informed that their art work was selected for the Madison Avenue Art Walk. http://www.madisonavenuegallerywalk.com/. His art work was hanging right next to a Chagall painting and Botero.
Pen and Ink Fish
0
The 7th grade art students have been working hard on pen and ink fish. First we studied all types of mark making techniques like hatching, cross hatching, stippling and shading. We then became acquainted with with dip pens. Next we sketched fish with pencil then we went over all lines with ink adding shading using mark making techniques. finally, we added color using watercolor pencils. This project took about a month or 8 class periods.
